Next steps / what’s next

If you have been selected for training for ordained ministry already, get in touch and we can get you more information and send you an application form.

If you are already in the national selection process for ordained ministry, we would love to talk to you about whether we could be the right training route for you.

If you have any queries, do call or email – click here for how to contact us or email

If you are just beginning to think about whether ordained ministry is for you, you may find this leaflet from the Church of England website helpful.

Also visit our Links page for more information on different types of ordained or licensed ministry.

Most importantly, you need to be getting in touch with people in your local Diocese who can help you get started on the process of whether ordained ministry is for you.  The Church of England has both local (diocesan) and national selection processes for discerning whether someone is called to ordained ministry. If you are not sure who to talk to, your local church minister should be able to put you on the right track but also you could contact us and we can put you in touch with the right people in your diocese.

If you haven’t done so already, talk to the minister in your home church about it – but also do feel free to get in touch with us if you want more information on what part-time training might look like.
