Are you considering training for ordained ministry ? The All Saints Centre for Mission & Ministry, which trains people for ordination across 7 different dioceses in the north-west and East Midlands, is holding an Open Day on Saturday January 24th 2015. Come along to the Wychwood Park Hotel in Crewe on Jan 24th to find out more! Click here for an information sheet on the day or read on. The Open Day is part of one of our six residential weekends for all the people training for ordination with All Saints. As well as having the chance to meet staff and find out about All Saints, you will be able to sit in on some sessions with our current trainees – and get to talk to them about what it’s like to train for ordained ministry with All Saints. The day runs from 10.30 to 3.30, with an option to stay on for our special Guest Speaker, Neil Hudson.
10.30 – Arrive and Tea/Coffee
11.00 Introduction to All Saints
12.40 Worship with students and staff
15.30 Tea and Coffee
16.00-17.30 – you are welcome to stay on for the talk by Rev Dr Neil Hudson from the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity
Join in with teaching and workshops
The day will include an introduction to All Saints, worship together and a chance to sit in on some All Saints teaching sessions with people training for ordination. We will also be putting on a range of workshops by All Saints staff and tutors.
A special Guest Speaker – Neil Hudson from LICC
If you can stay, we also have a special guest speaker later in the afternoon. Rev Dr Neil Hudson from the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity will be speaking about how we can build church community in a busy and fragmented world and the challenges of ministering in the church, community and workplace at the same time. … and worship and lunch
Worshipping and eating together is a big part of our community life at All Saints and we are privileged to be able to do that in some great surroundings. The prestigious Wychwood Park hotel is the main venue we use for our residential weekends – click here for details on how to get there.
