All Saints seeks to ensure that no person who has been sponsored by a member church to be a participant on the Course shall be discriminated against on the grounds of sex, age, racial group or socio-economic background. The Course is committed to making the learning experience accessible to all participants. It also aims to ensure that people with disabilities, and/or special needs, do not suffer unfair discrimination and are enabled to achieve their full potential, whether as Course participants or as staff. The Course asks its Directors of Studies and Pastoral Tutors to be especially aware of disability issues and of the help available to students with a disability.
Act of Synod
The Church of England has specific requirements to ensure access to those who are in favour of the ordination of women and to those who cannot accept women as priests. This includes, for the latter, that opportunities are given to attend Holy Communion elsewhere if the president at the Eucharist on a training event is a woman priest. If you require this provision, please speak to the Course Principal at the earliest opportunity – before or as you begin the Course. (Please not that the provision of such opportunities does not grant permission to absent yourself from a Course Eucharist where a woman is presiding when attendance by all is expected.)
