Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying “Whom shall I send, and whom will go for us?” (Isa. 6:8)
We reflect today on the nature of the Lord’s call to Isaiah. Overwhelming and unexpected. But also on other voices heard within the Bible from Job’s experience of God’s voice out of the whirlwind (Job 38:1) to Elijah’s encounter with a “still small voice”, or “silence” (1 Kings 19:12)
We remember in prayer today:
All of are in a process of discernment, exploring the nature of their vocation.
