Training for Ministry

Jesus’ ministry embodied the Old Testament vision of God being with us (‘Immanuel’), especially in His healing, embrace and inclusion of those on the margins of society, those rejected because of their differences or because they were thought to be unclean. Jesus’ vision of the alternative kingdom of God calls us to a ministry of healing and inclusion that follows Jesus’ model of radical embrace.

As His disciples, we are called to a ministry that fully seeks to ‘be with’ people, both within and outside our churches, a ministry that engages with the real-life issues that concern people today.  We seek to deliver training that equips Ordinands, Readers and Independent Students from a wide range of contexts who are willing to serve their communities, embrace difference and work towards the inclusion of all, especially those who have experienced rejection and exclusion.

We seek to form people who model and inspire in others a commitment to empowering and enabling others, thus encouraging and facilitating the ministry of all.

Drawing Closer to God

‘I am proud to be a trustee for All Saints.  It provides student centred theological education and ministerial training across a wide region. It’s a magnificent achievement to offer such accessible and exciting opportunities which otherwise would not be available.  The structure of the programme and the relevant blend of theory and practice are matched expertly to the aims of vocational education and training.’
